Job overview

The Life Skills Coach role is an onsite, part-time position serving clients in the Spring, TX area, with up to 12 hours per week and potential for additional hours based on veteran needs. Compensation is $18–$21 per hour. Simple Steps LLC provides home and community services to veterans with neurological disorders, physical disabilities, and traumatic brain injuries. The coach carries out client care plans through individualized life-skills, wellness, educational, social, and recreational activities. The role works with case managers and families to support client goals, connect resources, and document progress.

What you'll do

• Implement care plans through home and community activities
• track SMART goals and progress in weekly documentation
• orient and educate clients and families about care-plan services and procedures
• travel to client homes and transport clients during visits
• communicate with health professionals, clients, and families
• support activities such as appointments, household management, organization, and cognitive awareness
• provide timely data for invoicing.
