The Staff Electrical Test Engineer, Test and Validation role is onsite in Palo Alto, CA, with a stated salary range of $212,500–$250,000 per year. The engineer supports ALSO’s EE Design and Validation teams as the company develops electronics for its micromobility platforms. The role develops and executes electrical validation plans to assess performance, quality, and reliability from prototype through production release. It combines test-system design, hands-on characterization and debugging, failure analysis, automation, and coordination with design and system-integration teams.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute electrical module validation plans
• translate requirements and schematics into test strategies and coverage plans
• build automated test setups and fixtures
• characterize electronics and investigate failures
• optimize test suites
• prepare validation plans, reports, and procedures
• collaborate on design-for-testability and manufacturability
• analyze test data and report validation status.
