Cook / Prep Cook

Job overview

The Cook / Prep Cook role is onsite in Hickory, NC. Compensation is $12–$15 per hour. The cook supports kitchen operations by preparing ingredients and simple dishes and maintaining a clean, orderly workspace.

What you'll do

• Follow the chefs’ prep list
• label and stock ingredients
• measure seasonings
• wash and chop vegetables and prepare other ingredients
• perform basic cooking tasks
• prepare simple dishes
• clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and equipment
• store food properly
• and follow nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
