CNC Machinist

Job overview

The CNC Machinist works onsite in Luxemburg, WI. Pay is $28–$32 per hour, with a Monday–Thursday schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday overtime may be available. SAS Forks designs and manufactures construction equipment used in recycling, automobile dismantlement, construction, and demolition. The machinist sets up, programs, and operates CNC and related equipment to produce parts that meet drawings and specifications. Accurate measurement, maintenance, recordkeeping, and teamwork support production goals, with backup assistance to Assembly when needed.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC machines
• program, edit, and adjust programs using Mastercam, G-code, and Fanuc
• operate drill press, VMC, lathe, and saw
• measure parts for accuracy
• clean and perform preventive maintenance on equipment and work areas
• read blueprints and work orders
• keep work records
• follow safety rules
• work with the team toward production goals
• assist Assembly as backup when needed.
