What you'll do

• Design overhead transmission-line projects
• prepare calculations, construction packages, specifications, and reports
• evaluate structural loading, sag and tension, foundations, and routing
• coordinate with project managers and technical specialists
• review deliverables
• mentor junior staff
• support planning, proposals, client presentations, and construction RFIs and submittals
• ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, or related engineering and 5–8 years of transmission-line design experience. PLS-CADD proficiency is required; PE is preferred, and EIT candidates able to obtain PE licensure may be considered. Travel to project sites and client meetings may be needed.
