Community Relations Manager

Job overview

The Community Relations Manager works onsite in Austin, Texas, with local travel throughout the Austin area and occasional evening and weekend events. Salary is $60,000–$65,000 per year. What you'll do

• Support strategies for long-term relationships across racial, ethnic, religious, and cultural communities
• support lay leaders in community mapping
• establish and manage external partnerships
• coordinate intergroup and interfaith collaboration
• represent Shalom Austin in coalitions, forums, and meetings
• strengthen collaboration across the Austin Jewish community
• help design programs promoting dialogue and coalition-building
• represent the organization at local meetings and events.
