The Patient Escort / Patient Transportation role is onsite at the Rochester campus in Rochester, MI, with a schedule of 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., rotating weekends, and rotating holidays. What you'll do

• Transport patients by wheelchair, stretcher, bed, or ambulatory means to and from hospital areas for testing, treatment, and transfers
• use proper lifting techniques and body mechanics
• clean and maintain transportation equipment daily
• deliver specimens, blood products, patient charts, and other materials to hospital departments
• interact professionally with patients under physical or emotional stress
• respond to patient needs with courtesy, respect, and confidentiality.
