The Public Works Maintenance Team Member role is onsite in Valley, NE. Pay is $15–$30 per hour, dependent on qualifications, paid biweekly, plus a benefit package. The position supports the City of Valley’s public property and infrastructure maintenance. The role exists to maintain city properties, streets, trees, vehicles, and equipment. The employee performs outdoor maintenance and repairs, operates or learns to operate public works equipment, and works a Monday–Friday schedule of 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with on-call duty every fifth week and during snow events as needed.

• Repair concrete pads and small asphalt irregularities
• mow and trim city properties
• apply restricted-use pesticides and fertilizer
• clear city streets and roads
• maintain trees
• perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance and repairs
• operate or learn to operate public works equipment.
