Finance and Accounting Project Manager — Insurance Industry

Job overview

The Finance and Accounting Project Manager role is onsite in Urbandale, IA; pay is $60–$63 per hour. The role reports to a Project Lead and supports workstreams within a Finance Department program. The position drives workstream strategy and execution through successful transitions and integration. It coordinates resources and senior stakeholders across locations, manages project controls and risks, and supports delivery of the Finance Department's target operating model across people, process, technology, and real estate.

• Manage and support program workstreams
• communicate activities across regions and functions
• prioritize multiple projects and programs
• use implementation documentation and migration schedules
• escalate risks and issues
• create business cases, assessments, communication plans, and project plans
• present updates to senior Finance management
• support decisions and problem solving
• manage deliverables, risk mitigation, and change control.

Why this role
