Window & Door Service Technician

Job overview

The Window & Door Service Technician role is onsite in Raleigh, NC, with travel to customer homes. Pay is $25 per hour. American Cedar & Millwork supplies premium building materials and provides post-installation service and technical support. The technician diagnoses and resolves window and door issues, performs repairs and adjustments, and coordinates with customers, the sales team, and manufacturers. The work helps ensure installed products function as intended and service concerns are addressed accurately.

What you'll do

• Install and service screens, balances, glass, sashes, muntins, and related components
• adjust and clean windows and doors and clean job sites
• evaluate homeowner concerns and determine corrective solutions
• apply installation methods and performance standards
• resolve service calls
• travel to customer homes to inspect and repair products
• order parts and coordinate with manufacturers’ service departments
• complete warranty and service documentation.
