Senior Electrical Design Engineer

The Senior Electrical Design Engineer role is onsite at the Naval Support Facility in Indian Head, MD, with a stated salary range of $100,000–$200,000 per year. The engineer develops and reviews electrical designs for building renovations and power-distribution upgrades, supporting projects from concept through completed design packages. What you'll do

• Develop requirements and review design packages
• prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for renovation projects
• review designs for compliance with Unified Facilities Criteria, electrical codes, regulations, and end-user requirements
• provide proposal input
• support design from concept through delivery
• prepare technical memoranda and reports
• collaborate with stakeholders
• serve as project or design manager on some assigned projects.

Why this role

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering and six or more years of relevant experience required. Professional Engineer license preferred; must hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
