Direct Support Professional

What you'll do

• Assist with activities of daily living, including grooming, cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene
• support community activities and recreation
• accompany individuals to appointments, shopping, and social outings as needed
• encourage money management, transportation, and social-interaction skills
• implement and document individualized support plans and outcomes
• teach and reinforce independence, cooking, budgeting, and personal-safety skills
• support communication and self-advocacy
• promptly report incidents, changes in condition, or concerns. Requires CPR/First Aid certification, U.S. work authorization, background-check clearance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of healthcare experience. Varied shifts may include days, evenings, and weekends.
