The Counter-Uncrewed Systems / Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices Subject Matter Expert role is onsite in Norfolk, VA, and may require up to 40 travel days annually. Compensation is $100,000–$150,000 per year. The position is contingent upon contract award and supports NATO Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation capability development. The subject matter expert supports the development and lifecycle management of counter-threat and force-protection capabilities. The work includes capability requirements, doctrine, program and project management, coordination across development areas, and collaboration with military and civilian organizations.
What you'll do
- Support development of counter-uncrewed systems and counter-improvised explosive device capability products
- assist program management activities
- support related projects
- elicit, develop, analyze, evaluate, and trace requirements
- review policies, doctrine, concepts, and courses of action
- coordinate capability development
- organize and participate in workshops and meetings
- collaborate with military, civilian, NATO, and academic organizations
- identify lessons and best practices.
