What you'll do

• Assess and reassess hospice patients’ nursing needs
• provide nursing services, treatments, preventive procedures, and dietary counseling
• report unexpected changes to physicians and interdisciplinary group members
• teach and counsel patients and families
• supervise and train nursing personnel
• develop and reevaluate care plans
• attend team conferences
• maintain records and follow confidentiality and infection-control requirements
• participate in on-call coverage.
