Senior M&A Paralegal

Job overview

The Senior M&A Paralegal role is onsite in Boulder, CO, with a stated base salary range of $110,000–$150,000 per year; total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus and equity. American Operator’s mission is to preserve small-business legacies and create pathways to meaningful ownership. This role coordinates acquisition execution from diligence through closing and post-close, keeping legal, investment, finance, HR, and operating teams aligned. It supports timely, organized transactions and helps improve the processes and tools used as acquisition activity grows.

What you'll do

• Manage acquisition timelines, diligence data rooms, closing checklists, signatures, transaction documents, regulatory and corporate filings, and post-close workstreams.
• Coordinate internal teams and outside counsel, report transaction status and risks, maintain records and templates, and identify process improvements.
