The Special Education Teacher (K-12) - Special Education is an onsite role based in Cleveland, OH, offering a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus. This position supports the Special Education team at ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, an organization dedicated to providing alternative education programs for students with diverse learning needs. This role exists to lead the instructional process for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) by designing personalized learning experiences. The teacher contributes to the team by delivering targeted instruction, managing student caseloads, and fostering an inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and academic growth.

What you'll do

• Create an inclusive, collaborative environment
• establish a classroom climate using PBIS strategies
• track and document student progress
• deliver differentiated instruction
• manage student caseloads and IEPs
• prepare daily lesson plans
• maintain a safe and organized classroom
• stay informed on current research-based instructional practices
• perform additional duties as assigned.
