What you'll do

• Review construction documents and conduct site walks
• meet customers and facility representatives to understand project needs
• develop mechanical solutions for HVAC replacements, retrofits, repairs, and upgrades
• prepare detailed estimates for equipment, materials, labor, subcontractors, and expenses
• create scopes, proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation
• identify assumptions, exclusions, risks, and scope gaps
• request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
• collaborate with account managers and engineering
• review estimates for accuracy, constructability, and profitability
• assist with equipment selections, schedules, value engineering, and alternatives
• participate in proposal reviews, customer meetings, and project handoffs
• maintain estimating records and support change-order pricing.
