The Budget Analyst SME – Budget Execution and Formulation role is onsite in McLean, VA. Compensation is not specified. The role exists to help plan, formulate, execute, and monitor budgets so financial resources align with organizational priorities. Through financial analysis, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and process improvements, the analyst supports informed decisions and fiscal accountability.
What you'll do
- Analyze and report on component financial activities and budgets
- develop and monitor spend plans
- track agreements, commitments, obligations, and expenses
- prepare and process transactions and verify payments
- produce budget reports, submissions, briefs, and fiscal guidance
- support IPPBE milestones and NIP budget activities
- coordinate with government stakeholders and IC partners
- recommend process improvements
- track legislation affecting the NIP budget
- develop procedures and provide customer training.
