The overarching purpose of this role is to interpret melting and casting specifications for an air melt unit and lead the pouring process. The caster ensures high-quality production by setting up units to meet required parameters and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

What you'll do

• Interpret melting and casting specifications for an Air melt unit.
• Set up air and/or vacuum units to meet required melting parameters.
• Handle molten metal and tolerate high heat temperatures.
• Lead the pouring process.
• Perform functions of a Shell Puller and a Patch & Wrap Operator as needed.
• Maintain excellent attendance.
• Follow written procedures and standard work.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies and procedures.
