What you'll do

• Supervise inmates and prevent disturbances, escapes, and unauthorized actions
• maintain order and enforce facility rules
• conduct searches for contraband
• inspect facilities for cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning
• respond to emergencies
• document incidents and inmate behavior
• assist with inmate transportation to court, medical appointments, and other destinations
• provide support and guidance that promotes rehabilitation
• collaborate with correctional team members.
