Chief Estimator — Steel Construction

What you'll do

• Coordinate bid preparation
• communicate with owners, representatives, fabricators, general contractors, suppliers, and consultants
• review drawings, specifications, and conditions to determine scope
• prepare budgets, subcontracts, purchase orders, schedules, and pricing
• estimate indirect costs
• review proposals before submission
• present proposals as needed
• ensure project handoff to construction
• train and mentor estimating staff
• maintain relationships with operations teams.
