What you'll do

• Safely operate, set up, and adjust tube welding mills
• perform required destructive and nondestructive quality checks
• prepare rolls, clamps, bars, and mandrels for changeovers
• install and recondition electrodes
• maintain tooling and supplies
• move strip steel to the welder
• operate cranes
• make splice welds
• follow safety, housekeeping, and standard work procedures
• perform basic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting as directed.
