Petroleum Installer II

Job overview

The Petroleum Installer II role is onsite in Decatur, IL, with overnight travel of more than 50% required. The pay range is $26–$32 per hour. The position is with Seneca Companies, an OWL Services affiliated company, which provides installation, construction, compliance, testing, maintenance, and repair services across the United States. The installer performs safe construction work to remove and install underground and above-ground petroleum storage and dispensing systems. The role installs and tests tanks, piping, and related equipment, maintains job-site safety, and supports project documentation and junior installer training.

What you'll do

• Install tanks, piping, and related equipment and test them after installation
• remove and dispose of old equipment
• maintain a clean and safe work environment
• operate power tools and equipment including skid loaders, air compressors, and forklifts
• plan and review job layouts as directed
• review project status with senior installers and project staff
• complete job paperwork and mobile updates
• direct junior installers and subcontractors on safety expectations
• provide direction and training to junior installers as needed.
