ETL Migration Engineer

Job overview

The ETL Migration Engineer role is hybrid, with five onsite days every other week in Westlake, TX or Merrimack, NH. The rate is $70–$75 per hour. The engineer supports a client’s Data Integration Engineering squad. The role helps modernize data integration by migrating existing Informatica and SnapLogic workflows to cloud-native or open-source ETL platforms. It analyzes and documents workflows, creates migration artifacts, automates repeatable tasks, and contributes to cloud infrastructure deployments while coordinating priorities with technical and business stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Migrate Informatica and SnapLogic workflows to modern ETL or open-source frameworks
• analyze, document, and categorize workflows
• create migration inventories, source-to-target mappings, and transformation summaries
• automate tasks using Python, Groovy, Java, Jenkins, APIs, and shell scripts
• collaborate on sequencing and priorities
• deploy with Terraform or OpenTofu on AWS and Azure
• support releases, on-call rotation, and incident resolution
• apply Kubernetes and serverless patterns where appropriate.
