The Turf Crew Leader is an onsite, full-time role in Waukee, Iowa. Pay is $21–$28 per hour, based on experience. The role leads field crews delivering mowing, trimming, and blowing services on assigned residential and commercial routes for RJ Lawn & Landscape. The crew leader coordinates daily work, supervises crew members, and checks each property before and after service. The role supports safe, efficient route completion and customer satisfaction through quality control, accurate time and material records, equipment readiness, and clear communication.

What you'll do

• Lead and train the assigned turf crew
• review route schedules, job scopes, customer notes, and site instructions
• confirm devices, equipment, and materials are ready
• brief crew members between sites
• inspect properties and report discrepancies or damage
• ensure equipment is operated correctly and sites are left clean
• record time and materials
• verify work quality
• communicate with property contacts
• report incidents
• follow pesticide posting and handling requirements
• clean equipment and prepare for the next workday
• perform snow removal as assigned
• enforce safety procedures and company policies.
