What you'll do

• Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation, plans, reports, procedures, guides, and troubleshooting documentation
• support systems administration and troubleshooting guides for Unix/Linux, VMware, backup and archiving, messaging, and network management
• coordinate with technical staff to gather and validate system administration steps and operational procedures
• maintain configuration management documentation and database deliverables
• maintain version control, consistency, and customer formatting standards
• assist program and technical leads with written updates
• meet due dates and review cycles.

Why this role

Requires technical writing or editing experience in an IT environment, coordination with technical staff, and a bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of experience or a high school diploma/GED with 2–4 years of relevant experience. Must be a U.S. citizen and have or be able to obtain Public Trust. Schedule is Monday–Friday day shift; evenings and weekends may be requested. Travel is less than 10%.
