Recreation Events Coordinator

The Recreation Events Coordinator role is onsite in Perronville, MI; compensation is $21.41 per hour. The coordinator works under the direction of the Events Manager and supports facility events. The role keeps events and facility operations organized, safe, and aligned with schedules and policies by coordinating logistics, addressing staff and customer issues, and serving as a liaison between the facility and its customers.

What you'll do

• Coordinate event setup and teardown, equipment, signage, lighting, and facility needs
• ensure schedules and policies are followed
• resolve event, customer, schedule, and staff concerns
• supervise facility staff when the department supervisor is absent
• support facility departments as needed
• respond to emergencies, complete incident reports, maintain safety and cleanliness, and suggest event improvements.
