The Licensed Professional Counselor role is onsite in Augusta, ME. Compensation is $42 per hour. What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and establish measurable goals with the rehabilitation team
• provide evidence-based psychological interventions
• design community reintegration activities addressing psychological and cognitive needs during physical activity
• reassess treatment effectiveness and progress
• communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and family
• consult with medical providers
• document and report changes in patient status
• maintain required evaluation, treatment, and billing documentation.

Why this role

Requires a master’s or doctoral degree in counseling or a related field, current state-required professional license or certification, and at least one year of post-master’s clinical experience counseling people with traumatic or acquired brain injuries or related neurological conditions. Reliable transportation and travel between assignments are required.
