Equipment Installation Lead

The Equipment Installation Lead role is onsite in Newton, NC, with travel between project sites in Newton and Hickory, NC. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with occasional overtime; project demands may require periodic off-hours coverage. Compensation is not specified. The lead directs and performs complex mechanical installations and debugging for capacity expansion and production-line projects. The role coordinates crews, vendors, and technical teams to complete installations safely, meet engineering and quality requirements, and prepare equipment for operations acceptance.

What you'll do

• Lead or participate in manufacturing engineering projects involving capacity installations, equipment debugging, and production-line preparation
• plan and coordinate installation work
• perform rigging, leveling, alignment, torquing, piping, and mechanical integration
• troubleshoot equipment and mechanical issues
• verify compliance with OEM specifications, safety codes, and quality standards
• direct crews and subcontractors
• mentor technicians
• complete inspections and installation documentation
• support testing, startup, and customer acceptance
• coordinate materials and tools
• train operations personnel.
