Patient Access Specialist

What you'll do

• Greet and assist patients in person and by phone
• schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
• register patients and maintain demographic information
• verify insurance, benefits, referrals, and authorizations
• collect patient balances and explain payment options
• obtain consent and privacy documentation
• coordinate with care teams and insurers
• maintain HIPAA compliance
• and use EMR/EHR systems.
