Quality Control Technician — Cable

The Quality Control Technician — Cable role is onsite in Coppell, TX, with pay of $19 per hour. Rentex provides audiovisual rental equipment and technical support for production companies, in-house AV teams, and event professionals nationwide. The technician inspects and tests cable products to verify quality and performance before they reach customers. The role documents results, works with production and engineering teams to address defects, supports audits and procedure improvements, and maintains inspection equipment.

What you'll do

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of cable products
• conduct electrical and mechanical tests
• document results and generate reports
• collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams on root causes and corrective actions
• assist with quality procedures and work instructions
• participate in audits
• maintain inspection and testing equipment
• and clean, rewrap, test, and reshelve cables.
