Part-Time Housing and Entitlements Specialist

The Part-Time Housing and Entitlements Specialist role is onsite in Silver Spring, MD, for 30 hours per week. Starting pay is $23 per hour. The role supports Rock Creek’s services for people with mental health diagnoses, intellectual or developmental disabilities, and co-occurring disorders. The specialist assists the Consumer Entitlements and Benefits Manager with administrative work, consumer and representative communications, benefits tracking, and personalized housing supports. The work helps consumers maintain access to benefits and develop independent housing plans.

What you'll do

• Review and scan consumer-related mail
• pre-fill benefit redeterminations and reviews
• file paperwork for DDA and MHA Residential Rehabilitation Program consumers
• maintain benefits trackers
• contact consumers and representatives for verification documents
• coordinate with house managers and staff
• improve processes and templates
• develop standard operating procedures for independent housing plans
• maintain information tracking.
