Dover Hydraulics, a SunSource company, repairs and engineers hydraulic equipment to help customers reduce downtime and keep critical operations moving. The operator hones cylinder parts to size using large and hand honing equipment, with the goal of progressing to manual machining. The role supports accurate repair work by operating and maintaining honing equipment, following safety procedures, and recording job time.

What you'll do

• Operate large and hand honing equipment
• change hone heads
• complete daily equipment cleanup
• maintain an organized workspace and return tooling to storage
• report task difficulties and unsafe conditions
• follow safety guidelines
• record start and stop times in the Job Tracking System
• train to the cylinder shop honing procedure.
