Field Service Technician

Job overview

The Field Service Technician is primarily an onsite role based in Landover, MD, with frequent travel of 50% or more to government facilities in the continental United States and overseas. Compensation is stated as an annual salary range of $90,000–$150,000. Synergy ECP provides cybersecurity, software, systems engineering, and IT services to U.S. intelligence and defense communities. The role provides advanced technical support for field engineers and customers, installs and maintains IT and network equipment, and troubleshoots complex systems. What you'll do

• Provide expert and second-tier technical support and analysis
• advise on installation, configuration, and enhancement of systems
• test, train, and support customers
• troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
• maintain network stability through incident resolution and proactive maintenance
• set up workstations and install computers, printers, scanners, servers, and network hardware
• integrate equipment into facility and data-center racks
• route and dress fiber and copper cabling
• and interpret engineering drawings and work orders.
