Senior BIM Coordinator

Job overview

The Senior BIM Coordinator role is fully in office in Denver, CO. Compensation is $40 or more per hour. Swanson Rink designs mechanical, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, and technology infrastructure for data centers, airports, and other complex buildings. The coordinator leads project information flow and BIM coordination among design teams, clients, and subconsultants. The role supports accurate construction documents, resolves model coordination issues, and guides BIM technicians and specialists on complex projects.

What you'll do

• Develop project BIM Execution Plans
• lead BIM coordination meetings with architects, clients, subconsultants, and other disciplines
• create clash detections and facilitate coordination
• prepare models or content for MEP disciplines and support construction document accuracy
• resolve issues constructively
• guide less experienced BIM staff and help solve complex model issues
• oversee project setup in Revit and AutoCAD, BIM content development, and interpretation of architectural and structural drawings for system routing and space constraints
• train and delegate tasks to BIM Technicians and BIM Specialists.

Why this role
