The Activity Leader role is onsite in Orchard Park, NY, at $16 per hour. Orchard Brooke Assisted Living Center seeks to promote resident engagement, socialization, and overall well-being. The activity leader assists with planning and delivering programs tailored to residents’ interests and needs, including activities for people at different stages of dementia. The role supports person-centered care and resident wellness through group and individual engagement and coordination with families and staff.

What you'll do

• Assist the Activity Enrichment Director or Activity Director with developing and coordinating activities
• plan and facilitate enrichment programs, group projects, discussions, games, and therapeutic groups
• engage residents individually and through dementia stages
• assist with celebrations and intergenerational programs
• help maintain the monthly activity calendar and attendance records
• promote family and friend involvement
• attend staff and family meetings as appropriate.

Why this role
