The Radiologic Technologist / Laboratory Assistant role is onsite at Craig County Health Center in New Castle, VA. Compensation is $22 per hour. Monroe Health Center is seeking a clinical team member to support diagnostic imaging and laboratory services in a rural healthcare setting. The dual-role position provides imaging and laboratory support to help deliver efficient, accurate, patient-focused care. The employee performs diagnostic procedures, assists with specimen processing and testing, and maintains records and equipment in accordance with applicable standards.

What you'll do

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays according to provider orders and protocols
• ensure patient safety, comfort, and positioning
• maintain radiologic equipment and imaging records
• collect, process, label, and prepare specimens
• conduct permitted waived or moderate-complexity tests
• maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
• document and report results.

Why this role
