Preschool/Pre-K Lead Teacher

Job overview

The Preschool/Pre-K Lead Teacher role is onsite in Ashland, MA, with pay of $20–$26 per hour. The teacher supports Cadence Education’s work to foster children’s growth in a safe, inclusive learning environment. The lead teacher plans and delivers developmentally appropriate curriculum, leads classroom operations, and supports children’s physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs. The role also partners with families and colleagues to support each child’s learning and success.

What you'll do

• Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom
• build professional relationships with children and families
• respond to developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including implementing IEPs and behavioral support plans as required. Plan, implement, and document curriculum aligned with Cadence educational philosophy and programs
• maintain safe supervision
• document and report incidents
• follow policies and licensing standards
• participate in required training and meetings.
