Assembler, Transformer Refurbishment, 2nd Shift

The Assembler role is onsite in Preble, NY, with pay of $22 per hour. The second shift runs 4:30 p.m.–3 a.m., Monday–Thursday; training must be completed on first shift, 6 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The position supports work at a transformer company. It contributes to production by using hand and power tools and completing assigned assembly, disassembly, and surface-preparation work.

What you'll do

• Responsibilities may include refurbishing transformers
• preparing parts and surfaces for buffing and painting
• using brushes, rollers, sprayers, hand tools, and power tools
• disassembling transformer units and scrapping metal interiors. Prior experience in painting, scrapping, buffing, or assembly is required for these positions.
