Director of Inventory Management

The position is in TPH Holdings’ Supply Chain division and reports to the VP of Supply Chain, with direct management responsibility for the Buyer team. The director leads purchasing and inventory planning to align product availability with customer demand, service-level goals, and financial objectives. The role uses forecasting, supplier management, budget oversight, and process improvement to improve inventory productivity and purchasing performance.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage the Buyer team
• oversee purchasing and timely, accurate purchase orders
• manage inventory planning and replenishment
• align purchasing with demand, supplier lead times, and inventory targets
• monitor availability, fill rates, turns, days of supply, and investment
• identify shortages and excess inventory and drive corrective actions
• develop purchasing forecasts and manage activity against budgets
• report performance and forecast requirements to the VP of Supply Chain
• manage open and past-due purchase orders
• establish supplier performance expectations
• reduce excess, slow-moving, obsolete, and unproductive inventory
• coach and develop the Buyer team
• partner with Merchandising, Finance, Operations, and Distribution.
