What you'll do

• Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates
• review drawings, specifications, and project documents
• attend pre-bid and scope review meetings
• perform quantity takeoffs for power distribution, lighting, controls, and fire alarm systems
• obtain vendor pricing
• collaborate with project stakeholders
• use estimating software such as Accubid
• coordinate awarded-project transitions
• identify document discrepancies
• track market pricing, materials, and labor rates.
