Personal Care Attendant

The Personal Care Attendant is an onsite home-care role in Tucson, AZ. Pay is $16–$20 per hour. The position provides personal care services to assigned clients under the direction of a designee. The role helps clients maintain personal comfort and safety at home through personal care, household support, and assistance with exercises and mobility. It also documents care, reports changes in client condition to the Registered Nurse, and communicates with the care team.

What you'll do

• Provide range-of-motion exercises and assistance with ambulation or exercise under Registered Nurse supervision
• assist with bathing, shampooing, skin and nail care, oral hygiene, shaving, and dressing
• prepare meals, assist with feeding, laundry, and light housekeeping
• assist with ordinarily self-administered medications under Registered Nurse supervision
• report changes in client condition
• document care
• follow infection-control and safety practices
• communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
