What you'll do

• Provide complex and geriatric care to residents and patients across settings
• engage with facility leaders, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, patients, and families
• provide collaborating physician duties for an average of five and up to 15 practitioners subject to state rules
• audit up to 10% of each provider's medical orders or documentation monthly as required by regulatory frameworks
• assume medical directorships if needed
• participate in frontline or backup call processes
• focus on quality outcomes, care-path compliance, avoidable transfers, polypharmacy, and costs of care
• attend required training and meetings.
