Tube Laser Operator — 2nd and 3rd Shift

What you'll do

• Load material at the machine
• read and understand mechanical drawings
• upload and run programs from the machine controller
• perform preventive maintenance
• inspect first articles, in-process parts, and finished parts
• deburr and package parts as required
• monitor equipment, tools, and consumables and request external maintenance when needed
• operate a forklift and overhead crane as required. Trumpf equipment, basic programming, and other fabrication equipment are listed as pluses
• training is available, but prior flat laser, plasma, waterjet, or machining experience is required.
