The CDL Driver is an onsite role based in Bellingham, MA. Compensation is $27–$30 USD per hour, and this position supports the distribution operations at UMI / Opustone. This role exists to ensure the safe operation of company vehicles and the timely delivery of materials to customers. The driver is responsible for vehicle inspections, loading, securing materials, and processing all necessary delivery paperwork.

What you'll do

• Safely operate a heavy-load truck
• Ensure all material is properly secured at the beginning of the shift and continuously monitor after each delivery
• Ensure that all customer supporting paperwork is completed and returned at the end of each shift
• Collect, document, and properly secure money received to ensure alignment with customer paperwork
• Report any issues or incidents related to material damage or customer matters to dispatch
• Perform the daily truck inspection, pre- and post-trip (DVIR)
• Seek advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor
• Perform and document inspections to ensure truck and equipment are kept in good condition
