The Infant Lead Teacher — Infant Nursery Supervisor Qualified role is onsite in Aurora, CO. Compensation is $20–$27 per hour. The teacher supports Novastar Kids Co., a school serving children from infancy through eighth grade with a focus on STEAM, world languages, project-based learning, and whole-child development. The role provides safe, responsive infant care and leads classroom routines and staff practices to support infant development, family communication, and compliance with Colorado licensing requirements.

What you'll do

• Provide responsive infant care
• plan developmentally appropriate activities
• maintain feeding, sleeping, diapering, and daily care routines
• support milestones through sensory activities, tummy time, music, and play
• maintain a clean classroom
• supervise children and maintain required ratios
• follow safe sleep, health, safety, and licensing rules
• maintain records
• guide assistant teachers
• communicate with families and the School Director.

Why this role

Requires current Colorado INS qualification, Colorado Shines PDIS Early Childhood Professional Credential 3.0 Level II (2) or higher, approved infant/toddler training and qualifying experience; infant CPR and First Aid must be held or obtained before applicable independent duties. Monday–Friday shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
