The Registered Nurse (RN), Medical-Surgical/Telemetry — Night Shift role is an onsite travel contract in Wilmington, NC, with 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15 on a 3x12 schedule. Pay is $47.93–$51.93 per hour. The nurse supports an adult and geriatric general Med/Surg unit with an approximate daily census of 43 patients. The role provides direct patient care at a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, monitors therapies such as Heparin drips and high-flow oxygen, and floats to like units as needed. Accurate documentation, communication, and coordination with the care team support safe inpatient care.

What you'll do

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric general Med/Surg patients at a 1:6 ratio
• administer and monitor Heparin drips and high-flow oxygen
• manage occasional limited short-term BiPap with respiratory support
• document and communicate using PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR, and BSSR
• float to like units, including inpatient ED boarding, as needed
• work every other weekend and holidays
• respond to on-call assignments as needed
• attend required unit and night-shift meetings
• serve on a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team as assigned.
