Underwriting Trainee

Through coursework, assignments, mentoring, and coaching, the trainee supports underwriters developing insurance solutions for small and middle-market clients and prepares for a full production underwriting role.

What you'll do

• Complete the structured underwriting curriculum and assessments
• attend virtual and in-person training
• work with mentors on account management, submission review, and risk assessment
• develop knowledge of underwriting, pricing, and broker relationships
• support underwriters in developing insurance solutions
• participate in coaching and progress check-ins.
