Internal Medicine Physician — Wound Care

The Internal Medicine Physician role is a mobile practice serving facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of Greenville, NC. Compensation is $200,000–$350,000 per year. Vohra Physicians provides bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals and offers wound management training and a fellowship. The physician conducts weekly wound rounds, evaluates and treats patients in post-acute care settings, and documents care in real time using a wound-specific electronic medical record. The role contributes to patient-focused wound management while supporting clinical quality across the facilities served.

What you'll do

• Provide bedside wound management in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
• conduct weekly wound rounds at facilities
• visit two to three facilities per day and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day
• document care in real time using the proprietary wound-specific EMR
• complete onboarding training and the six-month wound care fellowship.
