Fence Technician

The Fence Technician is an onsite role based in Gainesville, VA, with a pay range of $20.36 – $28.50 per hour. This position supports the operations team at United Site Services, a leader in comprehensive site services, by managing the installation and removal of temporary fencing. The role exists to ensure the safe and efficient transportation and setup of temporary fencing at customer job sites. The technician coordinates with site representatives, manages fence helpers, and ensures all work meets specifications and safety standards.

What you'll do

• Transport, install, and remove temporary fencing at customer sites.
• Conduct daily inspection of tools and equipment.
• Check loads to ensure all materials are present.
• Perform daily pre-shift vehicle inspections.
• Operate fence vehicles to and from work sites.
• Unload materials and install panels according to specifications.
• Coordinate workload and efforts of Fence Helpers.
• Meet with site superintendents to confirm work orders.
• Record operational data and submit to management.
• Train and support Fence Helpers.
